Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies
(a) Transportation is provided for veterans by the Maintenance Department in state vehicles provided such transportation is authorized by the administrative or medical staff.
(b) The following situations shall be prohibited by the Department of Veterans Affairs, unless expressly approved by the Director of Safety and Security or the Director of the Residential Facility:
(1) A patient driver with a patient passenger.
(2) A patient driver with an employee passenger.
(3) An unauthorized employee driver with a patient passenger.
