Sec. 31-136-1. Definitions

(a) "Commissioner" means the Labor Commissioner of the State of Connecticut whose mailing address is 200 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield, Connecticut 06109, or his designee.

(b) "Labor Department" means the State of Connecticut Labor Department.

(c) "Connecticut Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities" means the committee of not less than twenty and not more than thirty members appointed by the Commissioner to consult with, advise, and assist the Commissioner in carrying on the continuing program to promote the employment of people with disabilities, (hereinafter referred to as the Governor's Committee).

(d) "Continuing program to promote the employment of people with disabilities" means the program carried on by the Commissioner to promote the employment of people with disabilities by creating statewide interest in the rehabilitation and employment of people with disabilities and by obtaining and maintaining cooperation from all public and private groups in this field.

(e) "President's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities" means the committee established by federal Executive Order No. 11480, as amended by federal Executive Order No. 12640, (hereinafter referred to as the President's Committee).
