Sec. 31-62-A2. Wage order

(a) Rate. The minimum wage rate shall be the minimum fair wage established by subsection (j) of section 31-58 of the Connecticut General Statutes per hour except that for minor learner clerks for the first two hundred hours of employment the minimum wage shall be not less than eighty-five percent of the minimum fair wage established by subsection (j) of section 31-58 of the Connecticut General Statutes per hour.

(b) Minimum daily earnings guaranteed. An employee who, by request or permission of the employer, reports for duty on any day whether or not assigned to actual work shall be compensated for a minimum of four hours' earnings at his regular rate.

(c) Overtime. All employees shall be paid at one and one-half times their regular rate for all time worked in excess of forty hours.
