Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies
The Connecticut housing finance authority ("CHFA") derives its authority primarily from chapter 134 of the General Statutes (the "Act"). There are ten members of CHFA. Four members serve ex officio, namely the commissioner of housing, the secretary of the office of policy and management, the banking commissioner, and the state treasurer; six members, one of whom must be an officer or employee of the state, are appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate.
